Annual Salary: $45,000 - $50,000 a year
Schedule: Monday - Friday / 9:00am - 5:00pm

We’re seeking a compassionate and driven Adventure Therapy Manager to join a mission-driven behavioral health organization nestled in the heart of the Lake of the Ozarks.
In this unique role, you’ll lead and inspire therapeutic outdoor experiences that support emotional growth, resilience, and connection. From ropes courses to wilderness excursions, your work will help shape transformative journeys for youth and families.
Responsibilities
- Champion experiential and adventure-based therapeutic programming.
- Collaborate with clinical leadership to align activities with treatment goals.
- Foster meaningful connections with students, families, and visitors.
- Lead immersive outdoor experiences including team-building, camping, and leisure activities.
- Ensure safety, engagement, and innovation in all adventure therapy offerings.
- Represent the program at select events and community engagement.
Qualifications
- A heart for healing and a mind for logistics.
- 3+ years of experience in adventure therapy, recreational therapy, or related fields.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (Recreational Therapy, Outdoor Education, etc.)
- Ability to obtain relevant certifications (CTRS preferred).
- Class E driver’s license and eligibility for Missouri Boating/Fishing License.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Willingness to be fully on-site and immersed in the program.
