Position:  Early Childhood Special Education Teacher, 1.0 FTE
Start Date:  October/November, 2025
 Qualifications: 
 • Position requires valid Michigan teaching certificate with a special education endorsement - ASD endorsement preferred.  Credentials must meet Michigan special education requirements;
 • Preferred Special Education experience with young children and behavior;
 • Applicant must be physically capable of performing all duties related to student and classroom needs;
 • Must have excellent communication skills;
 • Must possess the ability to establish relationships with parents, school personnel and community;
 • Must have knowledge of evidence-based practices for young children with autism: Data collection, data driven decision making, video modeling, positive behavior support, direct instruction, and prompting procedures;
 • Must have understanding of Early Childhood Ages and Stages and Michigan Early Childhood Standards of Quality.
