Vice President - Institutional Practice (Healthcare Architect)
Role Description: Huitt-Zollars has a great full-time opportunity for a dynamic Vice President/Principal-in-Charge – Healthcare at our Houston Downtown, TX office. This role is a Vice President-level position for a senior architectural leader who is able to build the business, maintain strong client relationships (particularly in Healthcare-related architecture), and grow and mentor design teams, leading them through all project phases including business and client development, proposal writing, contract negotiations, design and construction documents, and construction administration. This position works directly with the Practice Area Leader and/or discipline leads through the above phases of business and project development as well as supporting the practice area vision for strategic growth. The successful candidate needs at least 20 years of professional experience in institutional architecture with significant experience in healthcare. They will have excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to ensure exceptional project delivery for clients.

Employment Type: 40 FT Hours
Compensation Type: Salary
Compensation Type: Registered Texas Architect, or ability to acquire Texas registration via reciprocity
Education: Bachelor of Architecture from a NCARB-accredited program
