Merrick & Company, a mid-sized, multi-discipline, employee-owned consulting engineering firm that prides itself on building deep relationships with its customers, is seeking a full time Lead Electrical I&C Engineer to join our team at our Greenwood Village, Colorado headquarters. We are looking for an experienced engineer who is eager to supervise, lead, manage, and mentor an engineering and design team!
The ideal candidate will be a collaborative leader and have a passion for electrical and I&C design. The Lead Engineer will be able and willing to perform CAD as well as engineering, be nimble in accepting a wide range of assignments both nuclear and non-nuclear and enjoy a team design environment. Relocation assistance will be provided as part of the overall compensation package depending on experience.
Annual salary range for this position is $145,000.00 - $198,700.00. Pay offered may vary depending on job related knowledge, skills, and experience.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:The lead professional engineer will serve as a technical specialist for teams of engineers and designers within the Electrical and I&C group. Additionally, the senior level engineer will lead design projects and supervise electrical engineers and designers. Work involves a variety of activities including conceptual and detailed design of low voltage and medium voltage power distribution, lighting, grounding, motor control systems, process equipment and instrumentation.
