The Data Specialist will own the receipt and downstream deliverables related to the data we receive from our clients. Data Specialists analyze data to uncover insights and trends, providing valuable information to clients and management to enhance operational and business practices. Keys to success in this role are excellent relationship management, flawless project management, and a passion for delivering excellence.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Configure data to support core reporting deliverables.
- Prepare standard and custom reports and share these with operational team members.
- Gather requirements from audit staff and ensure flawless implementation and delivery.
- Use data mining to extract information from datasets and identify correlations and patterns.
- Use tools to visualize data in easy-to-understand formats, such as diagrams and graphs.
- Participate in special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous experience with SQL is required.
- Previous experience with Microsoft Power BI or comparable business intelligence tools is preferred.
- Previous experience with data exploration and programming is preferred.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office.
