Duxbury High School is seeking exceptional candidates for the position of High School Latin Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year.  

Requirements:

- Current certification from Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education with SEI Endorsement, Latin and Classical Humanities

 - Bachelor's Degree or higher from accredited college or university

 - Classroom management skills that support students' social-emotional learning

 - Experience meeting the needs of diverse learners

 - Experience collaborating with subject matter teachers, special education teachers, administrators and specialists to support  students in all areas of their school experiences.

  - Demonstrated ability to partner with families to support student access to learning

  - Demonstrated ability to partner with student in course selection, college, post-secondary process - 

  - Ability to plan and implement lessons that are aligned with Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks

  - Citizenship, residency or work visa required

Salary based on the current Duxbury Teachers' Contract.
