PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

The CAE engineer supports wheel design activities. This position will focus on the structural analysis and testing of aluminum automotive wheels using advanced FEA methods. This position will work directly with the wheel project engineers to develop structurally sound and manufacturable wheel designs.

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field. A master’s degree is viewed as a plus.

EXPERIENCE

  • 2 - 3 years of profesional experience in simulation and modeling processes in casting pieces within the manufacturing industry.
  • 3D CAD experience needs to be proved.
  • Experience in simulation software.

KNOWLEDGE

  • NX, Solidworks (or similar).
  • Simulation software (Magma soft or equivalent).
  • GD&T.
  • CAD 3D.
