Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Pirelli UK Tyres Ltd – Carlisle
One of Europe’s leading tyre manufacturers, Pirelli UK Tyres Ltd, is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join us at our Carlisle factory.
The successful applicant will work 40 hours per week, from 08:00-16:00 Monday to Friday.
Working within the Maintenance Department, and with the support and direction of the Maintenance Leadership Team, the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will ensure all equipment is operating to the required standards to ensure safe operation and to maintain production requirements and quality standards.
The objective is to improve the Safety, Quality and Overall Efficiency of the department, concentrating primarily on the maintenance aspects that can contribute to this improvement.
Main duties include (but are not limited to):
Although predominantly working days, candidates must also have the flexibility to cover a 3 shift rotating pattern and weekends when necessary.
