Our Withum Digital Consulting team is looking for a talented Senior Delivery Engineer (AI-Accelerated Delivery) to join us. The Senior Engineer can be based our of any of our U.S. office locations (New York, NY; Philadelphia, PA; Boston, MA; Braintree, MA; Woburn, MA; Princeton, NJ; Whippany, NJ; East Brunswick NJ; Red Bank, NJ; Saddle Brook, NJ; Providence, RI; Baltimore, MD; Bethesda, MD; Nashville, TN; Boca Raton, FL; Orlando, FL; San Diego, CA; Los Angeles, CA; Orange County, CA; San Francisco, CA; San Ramon, CA; Portland, OR; Seattle, WA) or remotely anywhere within the US. This position would require US Eastern work hours; 4hr overlap with IST.

Role Overview

The Senior Engineer (AI-Accelerated Delivery) is a hands-on technical leader responsible for standing up a delivery pod that builds and deploys AI-powered MVPs, integrations, and feature packs with a rapid, iterative cadence. This individual will establish strong engineering foundations, implement secure and automated delivery pipelines, and introduce AI-accelerated software development practices that increase team velocity and quality.

This role requires a self-directed professional with strong technical depth, client-facing communication skills, and a passion for leveraging AI tools to enhance software delivery.

How You’ll Spend Your Time:

Delivery Management

• Lead a delivery pod responsible for end-to-end solution design and implementation.
• Translate project briefs into actionable statements of work (SOWs) and sprint plans.
• Facilitate standups, reviews, and retrospectives to maintain focus and momentum for the pod.
• Proactively identify and remove delivery blockers, ensuring timely completion of milestones.

Technical Leadership

• Serve as a “player-coach” and builder by actively contributing to development efforts while guiding team members.
• Scaffold repositories, set up CI/CD pipelines, and implement secure defaults.
• Perform code reviews, pair programming, and ensure adherence to architectural best practices.
• Integrate AI-assisted development tools responsibly and effectively within the team’s workflow.

AI-Accelerated Engineering

• Establish, document and coach in best practices for AI-assisted coding, testing, and documentation.
• Measure and communicate the impact of AI tools on delivery speed and code quality.
• Codify reusable AI patterns, prompts, and guardrails that improve developer productivity.
• Actively engage in selection of correct tooling and monitor applied efficiency of said tooling.

Solution Architecture

• Select appropriate technology stacks based on project requirements.
• Oversee integration points including authentication, data, and observability.
• Ensure scalability, security, and performance considerations are embedded from the start.

Collaboration and Communication

• Work closely with Sales, Project Management, and Client Success teams to define project scope and expectations.
• Collaborate with our Data & AI Engineering teams on prescriptive and predictive solution components.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Mentorship and Knowledge Sharing

• Mentor and develop junior engineers across the U.S. and or India-based Withum teams.
• Identify repeatable components and convert them into reusable templates, playbooks, or frameworks.

The Kind of People We Want to Talk to Have Many of the Following:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3–5 years of progressive experience in software delivery with a record of independent execution in dynamic, rapid environments.
• Proven track record of delivering MVPs or production-ready features in weeks, not months.
• Proficiency in majority of the following:
• TypeScript/Node.js/Next.js/Nest.js,
• React/Vue/Angular
• .NET or Java

Experience integrating with enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, or payment platforms); familiarity with NetSuite or D365 is a plus.

• Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including CI/CD, infrastructure as code (IaC, a la Terraform, Bicep, etc) basics, and observability practices.
• Hands-on experience using AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Gemini CLI, Codex CLI) with clear examples of measurable impact.
• Strong client-facing communication and collaboration skills.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide junior engineers.

Preferred

• Experience with healthcare data flows (claims, eligibility, PHI) and understanding of HIPAA compliance.
• Knowledge of NetSuite SuiteTalk/RESTlets, e-commerce APIs (e.g., Shopify), or HL7/FHIR.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenTelemetry.
• Programming in Rust
• Prior experience in consulting or startup environments (if absent, demonstrate experience in a highly dynamic delivery environment).

The compensation for this position will be between $140,000-$150,000.
