Course: Analytics for Dynamic Social Networks Lecture & Lab

This course focuses on very large web-based sources of information such as social networks and semantic networks. Students analyze dynamic data and trends, connections (links), and patterns of self-organization. Students then utilize intelligent inferential techniques to interpret patterns in the collected information and translate them into actionable items. Hands-on experiences include marketing, organizational structure, security, and human analytics. 

What You Will Do:

• Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
• Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
• Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
• Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University

What You Will Bring:

• Preferred: Master's in Science in Computer Science OR Master's in Statistics or closely related degree AND proficiency in Big Data Analytics or Data Science and Python.
• Minimum: Bachelor in Computer Science or Bachelor in Statistics or closely related degree AND 5 or more years in Big Data Analytics or Data Science
• Must be proficient in Python programming, with an emphasis on pandas, numpy, matplotlib, scikit, and tensorflow.
