KU Children’s Services (KU) is excited to announce an expansion to the services and programs we offer for children and families in the Ashmont community. Building on our long-standing commitment to high-quality early childhood education and support, we are continuing to roll out our Allied Health and Early Childhood Intervention programs/services to the local community.

About Us
KU’s Early Childhood Intervention and Allied Health teams are an integral part of KU’s commitment to delivering high quality early childhood education and support programs.

We are a registered NDIS Provider and are currently expanding our existing teams. We are looking for passionate and qualified Allied Health professionals to join us in making a difference in the lives of young children and their families.

The Setting
Our Wagga Wagga service at KU Ashmont Preschool and Family Centre offers a welcoming and purpose-built environment for therapy and early intervention. You’ll work alongside our dynamic and nurturing local team including an occupational therapist and an Early Childhood Intervention Therapist.

About You
We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Speech Therapist who is committed to helping make a difference in the lives of young Australians. Ideal candidates will have:

  • A recognised degree in Speech Pathology
  • Working with Children Check
  • Registration with SPA (Speech Pathology Australia)
  • Experience in paediatric therapy and early childhood intervention
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • A proactive and compassionate approach to care
  • Current drivers’ license and use of a comprehensively insured, registered motor vehicle
  • Senior First Aid Certificate
  • NDIS Worker Check or willing to obtain
  • A Medicare Provider number or willing to obtain
