As Business Developer, you will:
- Implement Wakam’s commercial development strategy in alignment with our growth objectives.
- Prospect and generate leads across Italy, Spain, and other strategic markets.
- Identify new market segments and opportunities for partnerships.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and prospects, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Marketing, and Customer Service) to deliver seamless client experiences.
- Support contract negotiations and participate in the development of commercial proposals.
- Monitor and report on sales performance and KPIs, suggesting corrective actions as needed.
- Build a new client ecosystem in Italy , Spain and beyond, strengthening Wakam’s presence in key markets.
🧠 What You Bring
- Degree (Bac+5) in business, management, or a related field.
- Fluency in Italian or Spanish (Mandatory), and strong English communication skills.
- 1+ years’ experience in insurance with a focus on sales prospecting or commercial outreach. of new market.
- A natural hunter mindset: you’re persuasive, resilient, and able to build and nurture a strong lead pipeline.
- Experience in digital environments or tech-driven industries is a plus.
- Strong ability to develop relationships, negotiate effectively, and close opportunities.
- Familiarity with sales KPIs and performance tracking tools.
