MI Windows and Doors is a leading manufacturer in the window and door industry, renowned for our commitment to quality and innovation. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Assembler to join our team. This role demands precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining quality standards throughout the assembly process. 

Start Time: 7PM Monday tru Friday

Starting Pay: $20.50/hr. plus a night shift differential of $2.00

• Assemble door components following detailed specifications and production guidelines.
• Operate and maintain tools and machinery required for assembly.
• Inspect assembled doors for defects and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment.
• Report any production issues or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor promptly.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes and product quality.

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly role preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret production specifications and drawings.
• Ability to lift 20 Lbs. to 50 Lbs.
• Ability to lift, hold and move heavy weight items repeatedly throughout shift.
• Stand for long periods of time, 6 to 10 hours a shift.
• Read Tape Measurement Ft. Inches, (1/16 to 15/16) or Metric.
• Ability to work alone or in groups as work assignments needed.
• Work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment, winter, spring, summer, and fall.
• Wear proper PPE requirements such as, cut resistance sweaters, cut resistance chaps, steal toe shoes, ear plugs, safety eyewear, cut resistance gloves and cut resistance sleeves.
• Willingness to rotate job positions, help in other areas, and learn new skills.
• Ability to use handheld tools such as hammers, power/air drive drills, and chisels.
• Use equipment that incorporates interface panels to operate with minimal computer skills.
