Description
The Bookkeeper uses the Ronin process, QuickBooks, and established accounting practices to maintain accurate financial records, establish a consistent cadence of information gathering and reporting, and provide the financial visibility needed to identify potential business problems and opportunities.
Ronin Bookkeepers gain hands-on experience with accounting and finance, client service, financial systems, process improvement, and business KPIs - all while working directly with small-business clients in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Book items in QuickBooks daily for a variety of clients
- Month-End activities including bank reconciliations, ledger maintenance, credit card reconciliations
- Communicating with clients when problems or questions arise
- Monthly review of books with clients
- Cleaning up any problem areas found in books

Requirements
Qualifications and Skills
- Accounting Clerk Certificate is preferred but not required
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Computer Skills, including advanced Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Proficient with QuickBooks Software
- 3 year+ bookkeeping experience
- Prior experience with simultaneous multi-client management is a preferred but not required
