About the Role LV Petroleum is dedicated to providing our customers with delicious food in a welcoming atmosphere. We are currently hiring Cooks and Servers to join our growing team at our IHOP location. If you’re passionate about food, hospitality, and working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to meet you!

These positions are seperate and we do offer cross-training for both!

Server role starts at $3.65/Hr

Cook role starts at $13/Hr

Key Responsibilities

Cooking & Food Preparation

• Prepare and cook menu items with attention to quality and presentation
• Assist with ingredient prep and maintain proper stock levels
• Contribute ideas for specials and promotions

Customer Service

• Greet and seat guests promptly and present menus with enthusiasm
• Take accurate orders and communicate them clearly to the kitchen
• Deliver food and beverages in a timely manner
• Check on guests during their meal and address any concerns
• Process payments accurately (cash and credit cards)

Cleanliness & Organization

• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and dining area
• Clear and reset tables efficiently
• Restock utensils, napkins, condiments, and supplies as needed
• Follow all health, safety, and hygiene standards

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth, efficient service
• Support fellow team members during busy periods

Requirements

• Previous experience in a food service or customer service role preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Must possess a positive attitude and demonstrate professionalism at all times.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.

Additional Notes:

• Food safety certification is a plus, but training will be provided.
