The Product Analyst II will support the product management team by providing product data management, catalog stewardship, and operational insights to inform product decisions.
This role involves maintaining product hierarchies, entitlements, and configuration data, supporting product launches and commercial changes, and ensuring compliance with established governance and data quality standards.
The Product Analyst II will work closely with cross-functional teams to support product lifecycle activities and help ensure products meet business goals and operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and support the product catalog by ensuring product structures, hierarchies, entitlements, and related attributes are accurately configured and aligned with established business standards.
Gather, document, and validate business requirements for new products, packaging changes, pricing updates, entitlement changes, and other commercial initiatives.
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to support product planning, implementation, and ongoing maintenance activities.
Support product setup, configuration, and business-side validation activities to ensure product data, relationships, and catalog structures are accurately established and ready for operational use and market launch.
Execute established governance processes and business rules to promote consistency, compliance, and effective stewardship of product master data.
Identify data quality issues, process gaps, and opportunities for improvement and recommend solutions for review.
Coordinate product catalog deliverables and cross-functional dependencies supporting product launches, commercial changes, and operational readiness activities.
Monitor progress, communicate status updates, and escalate risks that may impact delivery timelines.
Develop and maintain product standards, process documentation, training materials, and operational procedures to support effective product lifecycle management and data governance practices.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data analytics, product management and product operations tools.
Skills and/or Certifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Product Management, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred.
Minimum 2 years of experience in product operations, product analysis, product catalog management, Product Master Data Management (PMDM), Product Information Management (PIM), Master Data Management (MDM), or a related business operations role.
Knowledge of product catalog management, product configuration, hierarchies, entitlements, pricing, packaging, revenue, and order management processes.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data quality management skills with the ability to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
Ability to gather, document, and validate business requirements and translate them into actionable solutions.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to provide clear insights, recommendations, and status updates.
Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, sales, marketing, technology and analytics teams.
Proficiency in Business Analytics Tools, e.g. MS Power BI, Jira or Tableau
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite skills.
