Job Description
Global Payment Solutions (GPS) provides integrated working capital management and treasury solutions to its clients around the world, including commercial and large corporations, multinationals, financial institutions and governments. GPS offers services that include treasury management, trade finance, foreign exchange, short term borrowings, liquidity management, card services and merchant services. Bank of America is the number-one treasury and trade provider in the US and a leading provider globally.
In order to be successful, a TSO must maintain a strong client focus while also understanding the operational aspects of the bank. A strong bank and industry awareness of various treasury products and services used by clients will also aid in the success. The TSO must maintain an open line of communication with core team members such as the International Treasury Officers, Relationship Managers and Treasury Sales Analysts to ensure all are kept informed of updated client information, treasury product information, and other industry knowledge. The successful candidate will manage and lead strategic dialogues around key client centric issues, leveraging best practices, peer benchmarking, industry data analytics, and solutioning positioning. The TSO must also be motivated to maintain a consistent level of goal achievement and be willing to challenge themselves with performance metrics.
Responsibilities

Responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of commercial banking clients for treasury sales related products

Partner closely with extended client facing team (International Treasury Sales Officers, US Relationship Managers, and Product sales specialists) driving and growing new relationships.

Lead sales effort for various global transaction services solutions and products with existing and prospective clients

Coordinate internal business partners, support groups and management to deliver integrated global working capital solutions

Actively manage revenue growth for portfolio of customers and ensure target and goals are met

Provide management with market intelligence and feedback for GTS related line of business
-
Be actively engaged in the industry within the local market
Required Skills
-
At least 5-7 years in corporate or commercial banking sector, preferably in treasury sales with exposure to US and international treasury management

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred
-
Proven negotiation and active listening skills

Excellent critical/strategic thinking and problem resolution skills

Successfully demonstrates creative thinking while adhering to guidelines

Strong business/financial acumen

Demonstrates the ability to foster strong partnerships within the core team and the ability to build sincere rapport with client contacts

Augment local market presence with prospecting and networking activities
