Job Overview:
As a Deli Clerk, you will be responsible for preparing, displaying, and serving deli products to customers. You will ensure freshness, quality, and cleanliness in the deli area, while providing excellent customer service to all guests.
WALK-IN INTERVIEWS: Held weekdays from 11am - 4pm inside our travel center located at 8018 US Hwy 93 N, Missoula, MT
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and slice deli meats, cheeses, and other products according to specifications.
- Serve customers promptly and courteously, answering questions about products and making recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the deli area and equipment.
- Stock and rotate deli items to ensure freshness.
- Assist in inventory management and placing orders for deli supplies as needed.
- Adhere to food safety and health regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient deli operations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a deli, food service, or customer service role is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Ability to operate deli equipment safely and efficiently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to deli work.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
