Position Overview:
As a Service Advisor at Mercedes-Benz of Midlothian, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive an exceptional service experience. You will be the primary point of contact for our service customers, advising them on necessary maintenance, coordinating repairs, and ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers warmly upon arrival and assess their automotive service needs.
Provide expert advice on vehicle maintenance, repairs, and service options.
Prepare repair orders by documenting customer concerns and coordinating with service technicians to ensure accurate diagnosis and repair.
Communicate service updates to customers and answer any questions they may have.
Ensure the customer experience is seamless, from check-in to vehicle pick-up.
Provide detailed explanations of services performed and associated costs.
Recommend additional services as needed, based on vehicle condition and manufacturer guidelines.
Work closely with technicians and parts staff to ensure timely and accurate service completion.
Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure satisfaction at every stage of the service process.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or customer service training is a plus.
Previous experience in a service advisor role or a similar customer-facing position in the automotive industry is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
A passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Familiarity with automotive repair processes and systems is a plus.
