Job Description

This position is based in São Paulo. 

At LinkedIn, our approach to flexible work is centered on trust and optimized for culture, connection, clarity, and the evolving needs of our business. The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team. 

The Vendor Engagement Lead, within the Deal Desk Center of Excellence, is accountable for scaling vendor operations through strong governance, performance management, and continuous improvement, while serving as the critical link between internal stakeholders and external partners.  

In addition, this role owns strategic partnerships with the GSA Sales organization, influencing deal strategy, enabling complex deal structuring, and driving successful deal closure. It also plays a critical role in accelerating revenue growth by leveraging data, insights, and commercial acumen to identify optimization opportunities. Through close partnership with Deal Desk and Sales, the Vendor Engagement Lead drives vendor-led growth initiatives, monitors performance, and closes gaps to improve deal outcomes and scale sales productivity.

Responsibilities:

  • Own strategic partnerships with Sales and key cross-functional teams (Vendor Solutions, Pricing, Finance, Legal, Systems), advising on deal strategy and leading the end-to-end structuring, execution, and resolution of complex, high-impact deals with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.  

  • Leverage AI and advanced analytics tools to enhance decision-making, streamline deal workflows, and enable smarter, faster execution across Deal Desk and vendor operations  

  • Serve as a subject matter expert across the deal lifecycle, pricing constructs, and O2C processes, guiding Sales and internal stakeholders  

  • Identify and deliver vendor-led growth initiatives by leveraging data and insights to optimize deal value and improve sales outcomes 

  • Drive vendor performance and accountability through clear governance, SLA adherence, and operational alignment to support quality, consistency, and scalability  

  • Ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in deal execution while managing high-volume, high-complexity deal flows 

  • Leverage data insights and root cause analysis to proactively resolve escalations, influence stakeholders, and improve performance outcomes  

  • Bring external industry insights and best practices to evolve deal strategies, vendor models, and Deal Desk processes, strengthening competitive advantage 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications 

  • 5+ years of experience in Deal Desk, Sales Operations, Pricing, Vendor Management, or Quote-to-Cash (O2C) 

  • Expertise in deal structuring, commercial constructs, and sales lifecycle processes  

  • Demonstrated ability to act as a subject matter expert (SME) in Deal Desk, Pricing 

  • 2+ years' experience with Google and Microsoft Office products  

  • Fluency in English and Portuguese

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience working with or managing third-party/vendor teams in a global operating model 

  • Proven ability to design and implement solutions (process, tools, automation), not just identify improvement areas 

  • Experience partnering directly with Sales & Deal Desk leadership to drive deal closure and growth 

  • Strong work ethic and roll-up your sleeves mentality  

  • Comfortable with change and an ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment   

  • Strong business acumen, organizational, time management skills and attention to detail   

  • A strong commitment to working in a team   

  • Professionalism, but you must know how to have fun too!  

  • Experience leading initiatives or teams  

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics, or Oracle
