Responsibilities
- Perform on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial machinery according to company standards.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults to implement effective solutions promptly.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to reduce equipment downtime.
- Provide technical support and training to clients regarding machinery operation and maintenance.
- Maintain accurate service reports, documentation, and inventory records for parts used.
- Collaborate with engineering and support teams to improve service processes and machinery performance.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all service activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Field Service Technician or similar role within the machinery industry.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills with the ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in field environments.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel frequently to client sites.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools, hand and power tools, and safety equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or vocational training in machinery or mechanical engineering preferred.
