Back-end Developer en IBM

Introduction

• 1-3 Years of experience with Python bases test automation, selenium.

• Experience working with containers and micro-services.

• OpenShift and Linux admin experience is a plus.

Your role and responsibilities

• Test automation development and functional testing

• Develop test plans and execution plans as per the feature requirement

• Execute automated and manual tests

• Report and verify product defects

• Implement features given by Architects and Leads

• Work with lead to ensure quality and timeliness of deliverables

• Participate in code reviews and ensure quality of code.

Required technical and professional expertise

• Experience with Python, Selenium and other testing tools/techniques

• Exposure to Object-Oriented Programming: Familiarity with developing using object-oriented programming, multi-threading, and concurrency.

• Test automation and Software Development Knowledge: Exposure to designing, developing, testing, and delivering software, including open source software.

• Open Source Community Involvement: Experience working effectively with open source communities for Systems, including driving community best practices in IBM processes.

Preferred technical and professional experience

Good understanding Python, Selenium and other testing tools.

Understanding and experience with DevOps, Agile, and

Test Design/Implementation within CI/CD and Secure Software Engineering Best Practices

Understanding and experience writing and executing Unit and Integration Tests as part of Test Driven DevOps Development is a plus

Understanding and experience with podman, docker Kafka & GitHub.

Strong working experience on OpenShift and other Kubernetes platforms.

Experience working with open-source technologies

Understanding of Networking concepts
