Description
Fifth Element is looking for a Copy Supervisor to help lead change in healthcare advertising. As a Copy Supervisor, you’re the voice behind the vibe. You team up with designers, strategists, and account folks to create sharp, scroll-stopping copy that’s smart, on-brand, and always on time.
You lead the charge on all things words—shaping concepts, polishing messaging, keeping quality high, and mentoring junior writers along the way. You know when to push an idea further and when to rein it in so it hits just right.
Part creative brain, part strategic thinker, you confidently present work, refine ideas based on feedback, and help turn great concepts into client wins.
Responsibilities
- Team up with your art partner to dream up big ideas that actually solve the client’s goals.
- Always be on the hunt for fresh, attention-grabbing ways to bring copy to life.
- Keep everyone in the loop—whether it’s other writers, freelancers, vendors, or editorial teams—so nothing gets lost in translation.
- Really get your audience: what they care about, what drives them, and what makes them click.
- Run your day-to-day like a pro, but know when to loop in your supervisor for the big calls.
- Guide and mentor junior writers, helping them level up along the way.
- Bring smart, strategic thinking to campaigns—not just clever lines.
- Write confidently and independently (you’ve got this).
- Keep an eye on the details—fact-checking, annotations, and overall quality control—so everything is accurate and polished before it goes out the door.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field (preferred).
- 4+ years of experience, with exposure to pharmaceutical advertising preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Suite, and social media/digital best practices.
- Excellent writing, communication, and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills, coaching ability, and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with healthcare copywriting, AMA style, and medical/legal/regulatory submissions.
- A portfolio ready for submission
Pay Range- $115,000-$130,000
