Join Our Team at the Hilton Garden Inn Fort Myers! We are seeking a driven, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented Catering Sales Manager to own and grow our sports and corporate accounts from initial prospecting through signed contract and flawless execution.
This is an exciting opportunity for a self-starter who thrives on building relationships, closing business, and delivering memorable hospitality experiences. You’ll work closely with both Sales and Operations to ensure every group meeting and catered event exceeds expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Director of Sales with daily administrative tasks including responding to event inquiries, preparing proposals, and maintaining client files.
- Coordinate with clients to understand event needs, prepare banquet event orders (BEOs), and ensure all event details are executed flawlessly.
- Own all assigned sports and corporate catering accounts from prospecting through contract execution
- Proactively solicit and book group meetings, catering, and event business
- Develop new leads through prospecting, site visits, networking, and community involvement
- Build strong, lasting relationships with clients and local partners
- Partner closely with hotel operations to ensure seamless execution of all events
- Maintain accurate records and follow-up to maximize repeat and referral business

Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel catering sales, event coordination, or hospitality preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with sales CRM systems and property management systems (e.g., Delphi, Opera, or similar) is a plus.
- Must be customer-focused, energetic, and a collaborative team player.
- Flexibility to work some evenings, weekends, or holidays based on event demands.
- Minimum 1-2 years hotel front desk experience or sales experience *preferred but not required
- Excellent telephone communications skills
- Ability to meet one-on-one with individuals, such as brides or meeting room contact
- Strong organization skills and effective time management skills
