Sweeper Operator en Pavement Preservation Group

Description

A Sweeper Operator is responsible for operating street‑sweeping equipment to clean streets, parking lots, and public areas. This role helps maintain safe, clean, and attractive roadway conditions.

Operate street sweeper vehicles along assigned routes

Remove dirt, debris, litter, and leaves from streets and gutters

Perform basic equipment inspections and routine maintenance

Dispose of collected debris at approved locations

Follow traffic laws and safety procedures

Assist with other public works tasks as needed

Requirements

2 Year plus of experience

Clean CDL A Required. (clean driving record)

Ability to operate heavy equipment safely

Ability to work independently and in various weather conditions

Experience operating paving or heavy construction equipment preferred

Ability to work outdoors in hot and physically demanding conditions

Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions

Able to travel and work flexible hours as required

Must pass drug testing
