What You Will Do
- Works closely with the Safety Managers to continually increase safety awareness and attitude
- Assists with providing safety trainings
- Travels to various jobsites and conducts jobsite safety audits
- Ensures safety policies and procedures are OSHA/DOSH compliant
- Assists with conducting incident investigations and equipment inspections
- Conducts safety orientations for new employees and safety meetings for jobsites
- Provides support to the warehouse with safety equipment inspections and recertifications/calibrations of equipment.
- Adhere to the PRIME Safety Program, complying with safety regulations, procedures and safe work practices.
- Maintain a physical presence onsite and regularly visit jobsites to oversee progress and provide assistance to the project management team as needed.
- Performs other duties as requested; duties, responsibilities, and activities may change, or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice.
What You Will Need To Be Successful
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) to support training, site communication, and safety compliance across crews
- Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- OSHA 30 Certification
- First Aid/CPR Certified
- Strong knowledge of construction safety standard
- Adaptability to fast-paced environments with changing conditions
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and observation abilities
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products
