Description

Access Services is seeking kind and hardworking Bachelors or Masters level students to join our Peer Support and Teen Talk Line program, for an in-office position in Plymouth Meeting, PA. We are looking for 2 students to complete an internship over the course of two semesters, ranging from Summer/Fall 2026 or Fall 2026/Spring 2027

The Peer Support Talk Line is a warm line where adults in Montgomery County can text or talk on the phone anonymously with a peer counselor about any problems they are facing, without fear of judgment. Our peers are standing by to provide a listening ear and any advice that may be helpful.

An intern on PSTL/TTL is trained to be able to jump in and support the lines. Depending on their interest level and volume of the line, they are also able to help with other creative projects.

Interns get a lot of 1:1 experience with individuals and develop their active listening and engagement skills.
