NYC Alliance Company LLC is seeking a talented Associate Technical Designer to join our team. As an Associate Technical Designer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of our product designs and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain accurate and detailed technical specifications, including measurements, construction details, and fit comments
• Review and analyze samples to ensure they meet design and quality standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and sourcing, to ensure smooth product development and manufacturing processes
• Conduct fit sessions and provide feedback on garment fit and construction
• Communicate with suppliers and manufacturers to address any technical issues or concerns
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in garment construction techniques

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field
• 2+ years of experience as a Technical Designer in the apparel industry
• Proficiency in technical design software, such as Adobe Illustrator and Gerber Accumark
• Strong understanding of garment construction, fit, and patternmaking
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Detail-oriented and highly organized
• Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines
• Knowledge of PLM systems is a plus
