Shipping Clerk en Clow

Description

Clow is hiring a Shipping Clerk to support our fast-paced manufacturing operations. In this role, you’ll help prepare and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring that every shipment meets quality and documentation standards. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work, organization, and being an important part of the production and shipping process.

Available Shifts

• Shift 13: Monday–Thursday, 4:00 AM–2:00 PM
• Shift 14: Monday–Thursday, 2:00 PM–12:00 AM (+$1.25/hour shift differential)
• Shift 21: Friday–Sunday, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM (+$3.50/hour shift differential)

Starting at $19.25 per hour base rate, with potential to earn up to $20.25 per hour based on experience. Shift differentials apply where noted.

Key Responsibilities

• Package parts based on customer requirements and department guidelines
• Use scales to verify product weights and counts
• Enter shipment information in the ERP system and print paperwork
• Apply shipping labels and attach documents to outgoing orders
• Wrap and band pallets so product stays secure during transport
• Double-check that the correct parts and quantities are ready to ship
• Follow shipping department processes and work instructions
• Keep the shipping area clean and organized

Requirements

• Basic math skills for weighing, counting, and verifying shipments
• Ability to use computers or tablets to record and access shipping information
• Ability to follow written and electronic work instructions
• Ability to work independently and maintain accuracy throughout the shift
• 1–6 months of relevant work experience required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently
• Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift
• Frequent bending, reaching, and handling of packaged materials and containers
• Use of hands for labeling, scanning, weighing, and banding tasks
• Required PPE: eye protection, hearing protection, MET guard safety shoes
