The Operations Area Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing delivery operations across NY and NJ, ensuring excellence in service and operational results.

Key responsibilities include:

• Take ownership of day-to-day delivery operations across a fleet of refrigerated vehicles
• Recruit, train, and schedule drivers to build and maintain a high-performing team
• Oversee logistics flow from order pickup through final delivery, ensuring timely and efficient operations
• Oversee financial performance including revenue, expenses, profitability, and full P&L
• Drive results across operational metrics such as On-Time Performance (OTP), Service Level Agreements (SLA), and customer satisfaction

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of management experience in logistics or other labor-intensive operations
• Experience recruiting and managing a team of 10–30 drivers
• Experience managing multi-vehicle delivery operations, including refrigerated vehicles
• Experience managing full P&L responsibility, including payroll and working capital
• Track record of improving and scaling operations in an entrepreneurial or operator-led environment
• Experience managing operational performance using metrics such as On-Time Performance (OTP), Service Level Agreements (SLA), and customer satisfaction
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Ability to travel locally within NY and NJ area as required for operations
• Ability to work flexible/variable hours, including early/late hours and weekends as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience overseeing financial performance across revenue, expenses, and profitability
• Salary expectations within $80,000–$100,000 base
