Position Summary

Defense Holdings, Inc. (DHi) is seeking a Remote Documentation Assistant (Technical & Compliance) to support the documentation department in preparing, maintaining, and reviewing technical and compliance documentation while ensuring accuracy and regulatory alignment. The ideal candidate will be highly detail-oriented, analytical, and able to manage documentation processes efficiently.

This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate with team members effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Billing & Accounts Processing

  • Prepare, review, and maintain technical and compliance documents in a timely manner.
  • Ensure accurate documentation records and version control updates.
  • Handle internal requests for document updates and revisions.

Compliance & Reporting

  • Assist in the preparation of compliance reports for management review.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory policies and documentation standards.
  • Help with audits and support compliance reporting processes.

Cross-Department Coordination

  • Collaborate with compliance, legal, and operations teams.
  • Ensure documentation procedures align with company policies and industry standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technical Writing, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in documentation, compliance, or administrative support.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and documentation tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in government contracting or defense-related compliance.
  • Familiarity with document control systems.

  • Professional office environment (or hybrid/remote if applicable).

  • Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance may be required.
