Description
The Production Worker performs a variety of production tasks to support daily operations, including ensuring product quality, and removing damaged products from finished goods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Count, label, and organize products and materials
- Inspect products for quality and remove or replace damaged items
- Sort and package finished goods according to company standards
- Move materials and products throughout the production area
- Perform general labor tasks such as loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials
- Complete other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Regularly required to stand; use hands and fingers in a repetitive motion. Frequently required to stand, walk and reach above the head. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl and talk or hear. The employee is required to lift a minimum of ten (10) lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts, toxic or caustic chemicals and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment ranges from normal office levels to loud factory / warehouse levels.
- Ability to work overnight shifts, weekends, holidays, 1st, 2nd and/or 3rd shifts
- Ability to work in temperature conditions between 35 and 95 degrees Fahrenheit; may occasionally exceed 95 degrees Fahrenheit
