National Star Services is a 27-year-old facility management company providing different services all nationwide and we are currently seeking for a skilled Industrial Maintenance Mechanic/Technician to join our team at a Chicago, IL location (60612)

This position focuses on the troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of different machines in a manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Provide essential maintenance support to ensure optimal machine performance. You will utilize your expertise in mechanical systems, including pneumatics, hydraulics, and power transmission, while also engaging in preventative maintenance tasks.

Available Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 5:00am to 1:30pm

Starting Hourly Pay Rate:

• $26.00/hr. Biweekly Pay.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, fabrication, and repairs in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven record of safety, attendance, and quality work.
• Experience in recycling maintenance is a plus, with knowledge of lubrication, hydraulics, welding, and electrical systems required.
• Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn and cross-train in other technical areas.
• Availability for call-ins, holidays, and overtime as needed.
• Ability to use computer systems for maintenance tasks and work orders.
• Ability to write work orders and repairs.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• E-Verify
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus.
• IMPORTANT: Must have experience in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and welding.
