Pay: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour DOE

CNC Machinist (3:00 pm- 11:30 pm)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Set up and operate CNC and/or manual milling machines to produce precision components.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T requirements.
  • Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and materials for machining operations.
  • Perform first article inspections and in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, etc.).
  • Adjust machine offsets and tooling to maintain dimensional accuracy.
  • Maintain required production and quality documentation.
  • Follow AS9100 and company quality management system requirements.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain a clean, organized work area.
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve manufacturing issues.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.

Mandatory Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification preferred).

3+ years of milling experience in a manufacturing environment (aerospace experience preferred).

Experience with CNC controls (e.g., Fanuc, Haas, Mazak) preferred.

Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading.

Proficiency with precision measurement tools.

Ability to work with tight tolerances (±.0005” typical in aerospace).

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

Mandatory Qualifications:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English.

Must be capable to lift up to 40 lbs.
Must be able to work in a standing position up to 8 hours per day.

ITAR
