We have a current opening for a Manufacturing Manager for our Dallas, TX Office.
Success in the position is achieved through the following duties & responsibilities:
Lead and manage a culture of safety and efficiency in our manufacturing department
- Support and ensure a safe work environment for our manufacturing department
- Create a work environment that fosters teamwork and collaboration
- Communicates capabilities of manufacturing department throughout the Proven Process
- Project, communicate, and maintain Cost Centers annual budget
Lead and support operational excellence through Lean technologies and tools
- Ensure our work centers utilize Lean techniques;
- SOP’s
- 5S – (sort, set in order, shine, standardize, sustain)
- Waste elimination
- Ergonomics
- Implement and maintain software tools to ensure manufacturing efficiency.
Provide engineering support and leadership for Royal
- Ensure Quality Control standards are set and maintained
- Continually increase order efficiency and fulfillment for field teams
Collaborate with other departments to continuously improve our competitive advantage through innovation
- Set, implement and communicate Royal standards throughout departments
- Collaborate with the VC department to increase project efficiency
- Work with the procurement department to increase Royal logistical efficiency
- Visit job sites to evaluate operational opportunities
Ensure the manufacturing department can support Royals growth.
- Create and implement growth plans to match company growth.
- Ensure all field teams can be supported by the manufacturing department and facilities.
Requirements
Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in senior-level manufacturing or fabrication position
Required Skills & Abilities
- Candidate must have excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
- Experience in Manufacturing is required.
- Engineering experience and degree certainly preferred.
- Must have a passion for Lean operation excellence techniques.
- Must be highly detailed with good organization skills.
Safety & Physical Requirements
- Must wear proper PPE while on shop floor.
- Must comply with all safety standards and procedures.
- Sit, stand, and walk during the duration of the workday.
- Will lift, carry, push, pull, kneel, crouch, and reach.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
Salary Range:
- $125,000/Year - $175,000/Year
- This an exempt position
