As a Technical Recruiter, you will partner closely with hiring managers, Recruiting Coordinators, and HR to attract and hire exceptional talent for one of the most ambitious energy programs in the world. This is a full-lifecycle recruiting role, where you will lead talent research, sourcing strategy, interview process management, and offer negotiations while serving as a trusted recruiting partner to assigned departments.
You will help build the teams developing next-generation laser fusion technology while delivering a high-quality recruiting experience for both candidates and hiring managers. We are looking for a people-centric recruiter who brings strong technical recruiting expertise, sound judgment, and a service-oriented mindset to help shape the future of clean energy.
Responsibilities
Own full-lifecycle recruiting for a variety of highly technical and non-technical roles.
Develop sourcing strategies and build strong talent pipelines across disciplines including mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, optical engineering, physics, manufacturing, operations, and supply chain.
Drive candidate engagement and attraction strategies to identify and connect with top talent in competitive technical markets.
Partner closely with hiring managers to understand role requirements, define search strategies, and align on candidate evaluation criteria.
Facilitate structured interview processes, including coordinating interview teams and leading debrief discussions to ensure fair and thoughtful candidate evaluation.
Manage offer development, negotiation, and closing to successfully secure top candidates.
Ensure a high-quality candidate experience throughout the recruiting process.
Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, helping maintain a respectful, high-performance recruiting culture.
Continuously evaluate recruiting processes and workflows, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Support recruiting projects and initiatives that improve the scalability and maturity of the talent acquisition function.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree
Experience: 3+ years of full-lifecycle technical recruiting experience.
Experience recruiting for complex technical roles across engineering, science, manufacturing, or high-tech industries (e.g., fusion energy, aerospace, defense, advanced manufacturing, or deep tech).
Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), preferably Lever.
Experience using recruiting analytics and reporting to guide hiring strategies.
Strong understanding of compensation structures and offer development.
Ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously in a fast-moving environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Passion for building strong teams and delivering an exceptional candidate experience.
Must be willing to work onsite at our Denver, CO facility.
Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee of granted asylum
Desired
Prior experience in a startup or high-growth technology company.
Familiarity with equity compensation and stock option programs at early-stage companies.
