Key Responsibilities
Portfolio Operations: Oversee the daily operations of multiple commercial office properties in accordance with individual management agreements.
Financial Management: Lead the preparation of annual budgets, monthly financial reporting, and overall portfolio financial performance, ensuring alignment with ownership objectives.
Tenant Relations: Serve as the primary escalation point for tenant concerns and service requests, delivering a high-level service experience while ensuring strict compliance with lease terms.
Facility Oversight: Direct all aspects of building operations, including maintenance, security, janitorial services, landscaping, and comprehensive snow removal operations specific to the Cleveland market.
Strategic Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of property managers and support staff, fostering accountability and professional growth.
Vendor Management: Negotiate, evaluate, and audit service contracts to maximize return on investment and ensure quality service delivery.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 7+ years in property management, specifically including 5+ years of commercial office building management.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Licensing: Valid Ohio Real Estate License preferred (must be obtained within 90 days of hire).
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with Yardi Property Management software is a significant advantage.
- Financial Acumen: Working knowledge of commercial financial accounting, reporting, and complex budgeting.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional organizational, time management, and communication skills.
