QB Country is a nationally recognized quarterback development and athletic performance organization headquartered in Mobile, Alabama. The company provides quarterback specific instruction, athletic performance training, recruiting guidance, and media development programming for youth, middle school, high school, collegiate, and professional athletes. QB Country operates multiple training locations featuring indoor turf fields, throwing lanes, strength and conditioning equipment, and film study rooms equipped with video analysis systems to support structured athlete development. The Training Manager oversees the delivery, quality, and consistency of quarterback and performance training programs across assigned locations. This role ensures that all Training Coaches execute sessions according to company standards and curriculum while maintaining a safe, organized, and professional training environment. The Training Manager is responsible for supervising coaching staff, monitoring athlete development outcomes, managing scheduling, and ensuring proper use and maintenance of training equipment and facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support Training Coaches to ensure consistent implementation of quarterback development curriculum
  • Oversee daily training operations including session scheduling, facility readiness, and athlete flow
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment such as footballs, throwing nets, agility ladders, cones, resistance bands, radar guns, weight racks, free weights, turf surfaces, and video analysis systems
  • Conduct periodic evaluations of training sessions to maintain quality control and coaching standards
  • Lead film review sessions using video recording and playback software to support athlete progress
  • Monitor athlete attendance, performance metrics, and development benchmarks
  • Coordinate with recruiting and performance staff to align athlete development plans
  • Maintain compliance with safety standards and ensure CPR and First Aid protocols are followed during all sessions

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Sports Management, Education, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of coaching or athletic performance training experience
  • Demonstrated leadership experience supervising coaching staff or program operations
  • Strong knowledge of quarterback mechanics, offensive concepts, and structured training methodology
  • Experience working with athletic training equipment and video analysis tools
  • CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
  • Strong organizational, communication, and team leadership skills
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends based on athlete training schedules
