SHAPE THE FUTURE OF PRIVACY WITH USERCENTRICS
Usercentrics is a global leader in data privacy and privacy-led marketing solutions. We believe there is no need for a trade-off between growth and privacy compliance. Our vision is to unlock the potential of data privacy to empower a thriving digital ecosystem. We work with companies to create a healthy balance between data-driven business and privacy-led marketing for every size of enterprise. Our customers build trust with their users through improved transparency and control to drastically improve marketing and monetization, while achieving full privacy compliance.
As we continue to scale our business and operating model, we are looking for a Senior Business Performance Analyst to play a central role in how we measure performance, steer execution, and support leadership decision making across the company.
This is a highly strategic individual contributor role with strong exposure to senior stakeholders. You will own key performance frameworks, investigate trends in our core business metrics, and help translate data into clear insights and actions that drive growth and operational excellence.
As Senior Business Performance Analyst, you will operate at the intersection of data, strategy, and execution. You will work closely with company leadership and functional teams to understand business performance end to end, identify opportunities, and strengthen how data informs decision making, ultimately driving performance across the full customer journey.
This is a senior individual contributor role with technical leadership responsibilities. You will not manage a team initially, but you will set standards and mentor others. The role may evolve into a people management position as the team scales.
Your Tasks
- Own and evolve core business performance frameworks, including top level metrics, reporting structures, and recurring performance reviews
- Partner with leadership and functional teams to analyze business problems, investigate performance trends, and identify growth and efficiency opportunities
- Produce deep analytical work across the customer journey, covering acquisition, activation, engagement, retention, and revenue dynamics
- Support strategic planning and execution by providing data backed insights that inform priorities, trade offs, and investment decisions
- Develop clear narratives from complex analyses and communicate insights effectively to both technical and non technical stakeholders
- Enable a consistent and rigorous approach to performance measurement across teams by defining common metrics, definitions, and ways of working
- Act as a trusted analytical partner to senior stakeholders, helping them ask the right questions and interpret data correctly
Requirements
You Bring
- Several years in business analytics or data analytics roles within fast paced technology companies or consulting, ideally in SaaS and or B2B environments
- Direct exposure to senior stakeholders such as C level executives, VPs, and investors, with the ability to present insights clearly, handle scrutiny, and support high stakes decision making
- Hands on involvement in structuring, preparing, and running recurring business performance reviews such as weekly and monthly business reviews, with clear focus on metrics, trends, and actions
- Demonstrated ability to design KPI frameworks and KPI trees, identify underlying drivers behind performance trends, and translate analysis into clear explanations, implications, and recommendations
- Ability to turn ambiguous business questions into structured analyses and actionable insights
- Curious and proactive problem solving approach, with initiative to explore new hypotheses and opportunities
- Comfort operating in a dynamic environment, balancing ad hoc requests with longer term analytical work
- Working knowledge of SQL, with the ability to query the data warehouse independently and support end to end analytical work
Don’t meet every single requirement? Studies have shown that women and people of colour are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single qualification. At Usercentrics we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive and authentic workplace, so if you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.
