Description
We’re seeking an HR Systems & Data Analytics Specialist to support, optimize, and advance our HR technology and reporting capabilities. This role serves as the primary Paylocity expert, owning KPI reporting, technology support, employee/manager training, and acting as the main liaison with Paylocity Customer Service. You will also use data analytics to drive strategic HR initiatives that improve employee experience, operational efficiency, and business outcomes.
Paylocity System Ownership
- Build, automate, and maintain KPI dashboards and reports across HR functions.
- Support system configuration, workflow maintenance, and data integrity.
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support to HR teams, employees and managers across EU, US, and MX.
- Partner with Paylocity Customer Service to open, track, and resolve complex cases.
Training & Support
- Develop clear, user-friendly training materials, job aids, and quick reference guides.
- Lead virtual and in-person training sessions for employees, managers, and HR team members.
Data Analytics & Strategic Insights
- Analyze HR data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities—for recruitment, retention, performance, engagement, benefits, and workforce planning.
- Provide insights and recommendations to HR leadership that inform strategic initiatives.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Work closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, and leaders to enhance system functionality and reporting.
- Support HR projects, annual cycles, and process improvements.
Requirements
Qualifications
- 5+ years of HRIS or HR data analytics experience, including hands‑on Paylocity reporting.
- Experience across multiple Paylocity modules (Recruiting, Time & Labor, Benefits, Performance, Succession, Learning).
- Strong analytical skills with experience developing dashboards and KPI reporting.
- Ability to deliver high‑quality Tier 1/Tier 2 support and explain technical concepts clearly.
- Experience developing and facilitating training.
- Experience supporting teams across multiple time zones and regulatory environments.
- Proficiency in Excel/PowerBI; comfort with large data sets and auditing.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Spanish language skills (verbal and written) to support Mexico-based employees, managers and HR teams.
- Exposure to HR metrics, workforce analytics, PowerBI.
- HR or HRIS certification (SHRM‑CP, PHR, or similar).
