Banks Valuation is a national real estate appraisal firm delivering valuation services across the United States. We partner with lenders, appraisal management companies, financial institutions, investors, attorneys, and property owners to provide accurate, well-supported reports across a wide range of property types. The Appraiser Assignment Coordinator is responsible for reviewing incoming appraisal orders and assigning them to the appropriate appraisers quickly and accurately. This role directly impacts turn times, vendor utilization, and overall workflow stability.

You will evaluate coverage, licensing, capacity, and due dates to ensure assignments are placed correctly the first time. You will monitor acceptance timelines, follow up proactively on pending assignments, and reassign files when necessary to prevent delays. This role also handles inbound communication from borrowers, appraisers, and clients, ensuring professionalism and clear documentation at every step.

This is a fully remote position operating within defined workflows and performance standards. Success in this role requires urgency, organization, and the ability to manage high order volume without sacrificing accuracy.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in mortgage operations, appraisal coordination, or related field
  • Strong understanding of the appraisal order lifecycle and revision management
  • Experience serving as a client-facing point of contact
  • Ability to manage high-volume pipelines with accuracy
  • Experience working within appraisal platforms
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Teams
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to guide workflow standards across team members
  • Self-directed and dependable in a remote environment
