Job Description
As an AI Program & Change Manager, you will be at the heart of Nielsen's digital evolution. You will manage high-stakes project teams, schedules, and budgets to deliver AI and technology implementations on time and within scope to delight end users. This role requires more than just technical project management; it demands a deep expertise in Change Management to ensure our workforce successfully adopts and thrives with new AI-driven workflows.
This highly hands-on role is critical for driving successful, large-scale technology deployments, particularly in the AI space. You will serve as the primary change agent, guiding colleagues through significant cultural and operational shifts. A key responsibility is the direct development of content that enables these changes, including the creation of engaging training modules, "how-to" guides, executive communications, and prompt engineering playbooks that translate complex AI concepts into practical application for our teams.
Responsibilities
Strategic AI Delivery: Lead the planning and execution of AI and technology programs, ensuring technical milestones are met while maintaining focus on the ultimate business value.
Change Management Leadership: Design and implement comprehensive change management strategies—including impact assessments, communication plans, and training programs—to minimize resistance and maximize employee engagement with AI tools.
Complex Problem Solving: Take a new perspective on existing operational challenges to integrate AI solutions that improve efficiency and accuracy across the organization.
Stakeholder Synthesis: Explain complex, difficult, or sensitive technology shifts to diverse stakeholders; work across departments to build consensus and drive organizational alignment.
Guidance & Mentorship: Act as a resource for other team members and lead projects with varying risk profiles, providing informal guidance to colleagues with less experience in AI implementations.
Operational Excellence: Impact a range of customer, operational, and project activities by ensuring technology tools are not just "launched," but deeply integrated into daily business habits.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5–10 years of experience with a strong track record of independent work product in project management and organizational change.
Subject Matter Expertise: Deep conceptual and practical expertise in program management (PMP preferred) and a robust understanding of the AI/ML landscape.
Change Management Skillset: Proven ability to lead the "people side" of technology transitions. Experience with Prosci (ADKAR) or similar change management methodologies is highly preferred.
Strategic Thinking: Ability to solve complex problems by analyzing multiple sources of information and exercising judgment to create innovative technology solutions.
Business Acumen: Knowledge of industry best practices and how AI integrates with broader business functions; awareness of the competitive landscape and factors that differentiate Nielsen.
Communication: Exceptional ability to translate technical AI concepts into relatable, actionable narratives for non-technical staff and senior leadership.
Digital Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Google Workspace tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive) for content creation, collaboration, and program tracking.
Education & Certifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, highly desirable certifications include:
Change Management: Prosci (ADKAR), CCMP (ACMP), or CMS.
Program/Project Management: PMP, PgMP, or Agile/Scrum (CSM, SAFe).
AI & Digital Strategy: Google Cloud Generative AI Leader, Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Fundamentals, AWS Certified AI Practitioner, etc.
