What You'll Do
As the Rent Receipt and Data Entry Specialist, your primary focus is to enter daily rent receipts into the Yardi database and communicate with other YWCA Housing staff related to rent receipts for over 940 units of permanent housing. You will also communicate effectively with property site staff and others and assists Lead Housing Revenue Specialist and Revenue Manager to complete month end reporting to Accounting Services. You will also be responsible for inputting resident data into Client Track database. Communicate effectively and work with Client Data Services to maintain accuracy and complete Rent Receipt data requests as needed.

Rent Receipt Posting and Reporting
Download Key Bank Lockbox & Orbipay Online Payment Portal daily deposit report, review for accuracy and resolve unknown entries prior to posting.
Review, process and post in Yardi, all rent receipts daily
Identify, analyze, and resolve rent receipt variances to Yardi system data with input from Lead Revenue Specialist.
Process, follow up & resolve RFIs (request for information), and FYI notices to site staff and Housing Operations staff related to rent receipt variances.
Copy, process, and mail every day, all rent payments received by Housing Operations dept according to established internal control procedures. Record processed payments to appropriate check logs
Verify, resolve, and process Live Checks returned by Key Bank. Communicate with property site staff using established notices to insure timely posting.
Process DND/Eviction payments received or add-on/removal requests from sites and notify Lead Revenue Specialist. Upload changes to Key Bank & complete notifications for Site Managers
Download, verify, and document NSF payments.
Keep Lead Housing Revenue Specialist and Housing Revenue Manager informed on status and completion of all rent receipt RFI and FYI notices and any other rent receipt related information
For month end reporting, complete, monitor for accuracy, and provide to Housing Ops Revenue Manager, Daily Rent Receipt Calculations Report.
Complete other month end duties as needed to assist Lead Housing Revenue Specialist and Revenue Mgr. Insure on time completion and accuracy
Maintain accurate paperless revenue files of all rent receipts on monthly and annual basis. Annual file transfers and archive preparation are included.
With assistance from Lead Housing Revenue Specialist and Housing Revenue Manager, develop solid working knowledge of all Housing Operations systems, procedures, and Yardi database systems
Assist Lead Housing Revenue Specialist & Housing Revenue Manager with daily tasks as needed
Client Track Data Entry
Input resident data into Client Track database.
Monitor data forms for accuracy and follow up and resolve missing or inaccurate or incomplete data with site staff to maintain data accuracy and integrity
Complete Data Accountability Requests from Client Data dept as needed throughout the year.
Coordinate with Client Data staff to participate in ongoing Client Track trainings and system changes or upgrades to maintain accurate and complete Housing resident data.
Maintain accurate Resident Data files to facilitate ongoing data accuracy and integrity
Must have's to be successful:
Minimum 1 year experience in a position that included data entry and attention to detail
Basic office experience and skills including organizational skills, and working with changing priorities
Experience with Microsoft Office applications; Word, Excel, Outlook
Willingness to learn and update skills to meet job requirements
Ability to be flexible, supportive and to work cooperatively with co-workers as a member of a diverse team
Ability and willingness to work independently and as part of a team and to make sound judgments with limited supervision
Demonstrated ability to interact with people (including staff and residents) of different cultures and backgrounds.
Strong commitment to diversity and social justice principles
Experience with property management databases such as Yardi

Hourly Rate: $28.00
Hours: 40 Hours per week
