About This Role
As a Data Scientist at Prizeout, you’ll work with the rich transaction and product data that powers CashBack+ and our credit union rewards ecosystem. You will use the data to build recommendation and prediction models to help match customers with the right products and improve the customer journey and ecosystem.
What You'll Do
Translate raw data into meaningful insights and productionalized data products
Build and maintain scalable, interpretable user prediction models that drive product value
Build and own user content recommendation models that drive user engagement
Develop and maintain risk models that drive product safety and business value
Collaborate with Engineering, Analytics, Data Engineering, Product, and Operations teams to refine models and drive value
Stay current on AI and emerging technologies to guide modeling & engineering best-practices
What We're Looking For
3+ years experience in data science/modeling ideally in predictive modeling or recommender systems
Advanced Python and SQL skills
Experience with big data
Ideally experience with financial/transaction data or familiarity with brand data
Familiarity with Snowflake or similar data warehouse tools
Bias for action and comfort working with ambiguity
Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, collaborative, mission-driven team
Clear communicator who brings clarity, not complexity
Scrappy, resilient, and energized by building things that work in the real world at scale
Preference for candidates located in New York

The expected salary range for this position is $130,000-150,000, plus an equity component.
