Description
The DECAL Manager, Distribution & Operations is responsible for managing the operational execution and commercial support of DECAL’s film distribution across digital and physical platforms. This role oversees content availability, metadata accuracy, and delivery workflows while supporting sales, merchandising, and platform partner relationships. The position works cross-functionally to ensure films are launched accurately, efficiently, and with strong on-platform visibility across TVOD, AVOD, SVOD, and physical media channels.
Here is what you'll do:
Content Management & Operations
- Create and distribute monthly avails to external digital platforms (TVOD, AVOD, SVOD etc)
- Develop and maintain metadata databases for all content and ensure all partners receive relevant updates in a timely manner
- Organize and streamline delivery of all packaging components to platform partners.
- Coordinate all physical media (DVD & Blu-Ray) development and delivery, including authoring, creative and metadata.
Sales & Merchandising
- Pitch and track ancillary platform sales and catalogue opportunities
- Perform platform audits on release days to ensure title accuracy
- Identify new opportunities to increase NEON and our third-party partners' on-platform visibility
- Manage existing licensor relationships including day-to-day execution, follow-ups on requests, and asset approvals.
- Establish and grow relationships with all VOD and digital partners. Become a subject matter expert in all aspects of partner specifications and needs.
- Prepare sales presentation materials
- Research insights and analysis for partner performance and key accounts
- Manage sales report databases and support sales research analysis
Compensation:
The target annual salary range for this position is $75,000–$80,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, education, and internal equity.
This position is based in our New York office and operates on a hybrid schedule, requiring in-office presence for a minimum of 3 days per week.

Requirements
Here's what we are looking for:
- 3-4+ years of experience, home entertainment experience strongly preferred
- Proficient in Excel & Google Suite
- Familiarity with Airtable, rights management softwares, and Adobe suite, as well as adaptability to learn new tools and programs
- Adept at developing organizational systems and improving processes
- Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of management and directly with clients.
