• $55–$60/hr, depending on experience

The Level 2 Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality, patient-centered care in a community hospital. This role supports a fast-paced emergency department that delivers critical care services to a diverse patient population while collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary care team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care to patients presenting with a broad range of emergency conditions
• Perform rapid assessments, triage, and continuous patient monitoring
• Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and emergency interventions as ordered
• Respond quickly and effectively to changes in patient condition
• Assist with trauma response and emergency procedures
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
• Follow all hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Level 2 RN with demonstrated emergency department competency
• BLS and ACLS required
• Strong clinical judgment, multitasking ability, and communication skills

Orientation & Scheduling Requirements:

• Orientation held on a Monday and Tuesday
• First 4 week: Minimum of 2 shifts per week required
• Ongoing: 2 shifts per month thereafter
• Potential exception: Candidates with prior Returns/Meditech experience may be considered
