Senior Brand Strategist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Brand Strategist with strong leadership and managerial skills to join our outstanding team in our San Francisco office.

Getting “senior” in your title means that you’ve moved on from merely being the indispensable thinker and insight finder on the brand to being both the initiator and driver of the strategic process on a piece of business. This is where one could argue that your only measuring stick is how well you deliver on being the difference between good work and great work.

Key Responsibilities: 

The Essentials:

  • Unearth and define insights that matter, distill them into truths and ideas, inspiring the team.
  • Initiator and driver of the strategic process on a piece of business.
  • Thoughtfully interrogate audiences and distill relevant facts into truths and insights.
  • Offer new perspectives on problems and consumers.
  • Become the authority on your team, trusted for guidance and direction.
  • Predict challenges and opportunities affecting the client’s business and brand.

Presentation Skills:

  • Not afraid to step up and own the room.
  • Able to craft compelling narratives, demonstrating excellence in written communication.
  • Command authority with clients.

Influence Creative Work

  • Give direction and suggestion to the creative department that becomes the difference between good work and great work.
  • Create ideas.
  • Bring ideas to life.
  • Bring the voice of the consumer into the process.
  • Create new language for brands.
  • Be provocative.

Regarding compensation, the range below represents the low and high end of the base salary someone in this role may earn as a full-time employee of Goodby, Silverstein & Partners in the United States. Salaries will vary based on various factors including but not limited to professional and academic experience, training, associated responsibilities, and other business and organizational needs. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire.  For this role we are looking for someone with experience as a Senior Brand Strategist, so we would expect that the right person will earn a salary on the higher side of this range.

$105,00 - $145,000
