HOKALI, a Y Combinator–backed leader in after-school programs, is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Chess Instructors to join our community in Austin, TX. We partner with over 200 schools across the U.S., creating enriching after-school experiences that help students grow, explore new interests, and build confidence.

What you’ll do:

• Lead engaging and educational Drawing & Painting after-school classes
• Create a positive, supportive, and fun learning environment
• Encourage creativity, critical thinking, and self-confidence in students
• Contribute to meaningful programs that make a real impact

We’re actively seeking instructors with experience in:

• Chess

Program Details:

• Location: Austin Montessori School
• Schedule:
• Thursdays from 3.15 pm to 4.30 pm.
• Pay rate: $50 per hour
• Program is subject to student enrollment

Requirements

• Experience working with children in after-school or educational settings (Required)
• Background in education, chess instruction, or related fields (Preferred)
• Availability Thursdays from 3.15 pm to 4.30 pm.
• Ability to work on-site in Austin, TX
