The Opportunity:
We are seeking a Senior Creative to join Ogilvy’s PR, social and influence department, serving our biggest clients and delivering stand-out, award winning integrated work. You need to be a champion of earned first thinking, with the skills and experience to move and evolve ideas across influence, social and other channels.
The ideal candidate should be a modern, integrated creative with experience working across beauty and health brands – from hair care to skin care – who knows how to make work that appeals as much to TikTok as it does to The Telegraph.
One day you might be coming up with product launch ideas to generate media coverage and conversation, the next you might be sweating the details of a single TikTok before consulting on a shoot or managing talent. As a result, you’re as comfortable using Capcut as you are in the edit suite. You know what’s trending – and how to harness those trends to excite media, fans and influencers.
You’re a confident presenter, great at making ideas look wonderful, used to lots of client contact with a knack for simplifying complex narratives across multiple platforms.
You’ll work closely with teams from PR, social and influence – with strategists to help craft your idea, account teams to help sell them to clients, and media experts to help generate coverage.
Do we expect you to be on the bleeding edge of every single new trend? It’s a nice to have, but we have tech for that and you’re probably quite busy. What's crucial is that you understand why something trends, why it matters, and how to harness that understanding to breathe life into a client's brand.
You understand we are an entertainment-first marketing discipline, while still packing the core creative punch of big-agency talent and knowing what makes a compelling story. You understand the dreaded ‘best practice’, but more importantly you understand when to rip it to pieces.
