Description
The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving growth within our industrial services division. This role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strong client relationships, with book of business. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of industrial service markets and equipment.
- Experience selling services such as industrial cleaning, vacuum services, tank cleaning and water blasting technology.
- Existing industry contacts and customer relationships.
- Knowledge of safety standards and compliance requirements.
Requirements
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities for vacuum truck services
- Conduct site visits, scope work, and collaborate with operations on job planning.
- Generate and manage a robust sales pipeline through prospecting and networking.
- Collaborate with operations and project management teams to ensure accurate proposals and successful project execution.
- Prepare bids, proposals, and contracts in coordination with internal teams.
- Stay current on safety standards, environmental regulations and knowledge of hazards.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of business development or sales experience in industrial services, environmental services, construction services or related fields.
- Strong understanding of industrial services operations and safety - driven environments.
- Excellent communication skills, negotiation, relationship building skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- TWIC Card required (must obtain within first 30 days of hire.)
- Valid clean driver's license and willingness to travel regionally and out of state.
